Sport Relief 2008 - On Friday 28th March members of the club participated in a sponsored mile slalom ski event in support of Sport Relief. Two teams raced to complete a mile of slalom skiing (22 descents of the Bowles slope). The enthusiastic bunch then continued skiing until they had all individually completed a mile. Congratulations to you all - we managed to raise £305 for Sport Relief!

Special mention should go to Christopher Owens, who was the first to complete a mile (in 42m 5s). Also Laura Owens, who (due to the rigorous enforcement of the rules by John), actually skied around 28 descents of the slope! You can see the full results here.

Bowles Ski Racing Club Championship 2007 - On Friday 13th July and 23rd November we held special race events for all club members. The format consisted of dual slalom competitions with a handicap system so that prizes could be awarded. Check out the photos in the Gallery. 

Summer Snow Training 2007 - Tignes

Members of the Race Club journeyed to Tignes over the August Bank Holiday to spend some time skiing on snow and in particular race training.
